You won't find Hercules, they make cards, not chips. That Herc you're lookin at is most likely a nVidia chipset. The only truly well supported opensource Vcards were 3dfx (eg, voodoo3). nVidia has 2d OSS support, ATI has sort'a kind'a OSS support, Matrox fairly decent OSS support. -- Tom Brinkman Corpus Christi, Texas
