Theoretically it's wrong.

So I would have to agree that the sleeve is ground. (Contrary to popular
opinion, my memory and my previous post.) But I am 90% sure the ring is
right.
Still, if it works in your kit it must be correct.
If you feel like fiddling some more you could always remove one channel and
see which one goes away.
(Just got your last post. It is the same thing. Think of shank2 as a ring
around the shaft, and shank1 as a sleeve around the whole thing.)
