John, as you know I also use kword under 9.1.  If it is any help in 
troubleshooting, feel free to mail me a sample document that has 
given you problems.  I'll see whether it prints OK to my printer, a 
DJ990.  If that's so, then it is definitely the printer driver, I 
would say.
