Ted, this is called thread hijacking, and is severely frowned on ;-)  Take

Now, to your question.  Installing windows will have no effect on your 
LE2005, but it will write its own bootloader, so you won't be able to see 
your linux install.  It's easily cured, though, once you get that far.  
You go back to the LE2005 install disk 1, booting from it, hit Esc (I 
think that's the one, but you'll see a message on screen) and select 
'Rescue'.  From there one option is to restore the bootloader.  Done!

Don't forget, though, that if you want to share data you should create a 
fat32 partition to do it.  Writing to ntfs is still extremely risky.
