A simple connection should do
the trick, with you setting all the stuff up on the machine using
ifconfig <interface>. The device you set up is the connection interface
at the machine end; you don't set the modem up as a device like you do
a dialup modem.
Hi Trisch,
running "ifconfig <interface>" from console gives
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
"ifconfig" alone gives

Beats me what it might mean
