BTW -the card works perfectly on Windblows 2000
My understanding (which may be faulty, and I'm open to correction) that
card is not supported under Linux, not just Mandriva. I believe it's
largely because Creative has not released the information needed for
developers to have had the drivers ready for it, though my may-be-faulty
understanding seems to recall seeing that work on the driver(s) for it is
in progress.
I have one, too. Works beautifully under XP on my Compaq Presario 2175us,
but I get squat under Linux, of course.
I would *LOVE* to find out I'm wrong about support for this card, but I
think we're SOL.
