I recommend installing 2006. At least it will be much easier to upgrade and
maintain. If you choose that, during the installation, under available
packages, select *development*. I guess that will take care of it.

I have also noted that 10.1 is still available, but that one is also
maybe too old now.
I also note that Madriva urges anyone who downloads to join the club.
