Of course, that is the way to find executables that are in the environmentally 
defined search path. What I was suggesting was a quick and easy way of 
looking at the locations of files belonging to a particular package, and not 
necessarily just the executables. (The package does not need to be installed, 
either) Of course one could also run "rpm -ql <packagename>" for a similar 
result, without the navigability.
