Hi Lee
I have not used the Mandriva version of OOo for a while, preferring to
keep up to date with the rpm downloads from OpenOffice.org.

Have you tried doing a locate soffice - this is the name for the
"master" entry program. Or even in a shell trying to run soffice. This
certainly works on mine, but as I say this is installed in
/opt/openoffice/ which is the OOo default, not the Mandriva default.

The current release from OOo is 2.0.2 with 2.0.3 in rc1 level, with the
final due out in a few weeks. I am actually using the development
version as 2.0.2 had some spellchecking anomalies which have been corrected.

If you do a "Help - about" and then press Ctrl+ S D T - the latter in
sequence lest you run out of fingers and it will display the build details.
My 2.0.2 shows 680 m5 build 9011
and OOo-dev shows 680 m165 build 9019
