ET got an infinite number of monkeys to type out:

> "fish://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/var/www/puke" I am asked for root's password
> to connect to on the box 192.168.0.100, and after I supply the password,
> I am connected to /var/www/puke, which since I am root, I can write to
> or read from. any files or folders I copy over will be owned by root.

Bleh. I type 'svr', and I'm into my web/mail server, and it ain't for uber
geeks, I'm as much a newb as anyone.

Check it.

Run ssh-keygen on box A, copy key to your account (~./ssh) on box B (and C,
etc). Now you don't have to enter a password.

Edit your /etc/hosts file so box B (and C, etc.) with address 192.168.0.x (or
whatever) is called 'foo'. Now all you have to remember is box B's name, not
it's IP. But wait, it gets better.

Edit your .bashrc like so:

alias foo="ssh foo"

Done. Now just enter 'foo', and yer in. su root as needed.

Joooooooy toooooo the Woooooorld! LOL!
