M> Writing to NTFS is fine with Knoppix (I do it routinely) It can be done - Acronis backup for Windows is a linux program that writes to ntfs very reliably. Perhaps they have put in the effort to make it reliable. It is a matter of reliability, as I understand it. Several linuxes will write ntfs, but occasionally might trash the file system beyond repair. Is Knoppix known to be 'bullet-proof' on ntfs writes? Perhaps some MD person might comment on this. -- rikona mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
