Tried the patch described below but now I can't even launch X. I get lots of
unresolved symbols when I startx. Tried to make install in xc directory but
that aborts with "can't find -lncurses". I enabled "define -lncurses" in
xc/config/cf/host.def but make install still aborts the same way.
Suggestions greatly appreciated,
