Hello,
I have a feeling this is in here somewhere, but I cannot find it...I
have installed Debian linux (2.2), and then downloaded and installed
XFree86 4.1.0 (I have a Radeon 32M SDR PCI board). Along with everything
else, I installed xfs. Now when I boot linux it gets to the line about
starting the X Font Server and hangs. It does the same thing regardless
of whether I use the boot floppy or boot from the HD.
So, I have two questions...how can I get it to stop (or skip) this step
so I can even edit the files?
Also, how do I find out what is causing the hang?
