Instead of "XFree86Config -configure" I ran the
"xf86config". I did not choose a specific
Video-chipset/driver from the list.
After that I took a look into the XFree86Config-file and
there it said "Generic VGA". When I then ran "startx" I
got (among other things):

---
Fatal server error:
AddScreen/ScreenInit failed for driver 0

When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please
send
the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file
"/var/log/XFree86.0.log".
Please report problems to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
---

I tried to change to "SVGA" but I kept on ketting a
message that said something about "Could not load module
SVGA".

I will go home in about 10 hours and then I will try your
tip about the VESA.
I shall also get some information about the details of
that DamnedConfig-file.

Thx.

/ Jeppe
