I hear you on that... Powersave just doesn't belong on a desktop machine (well, DPMS power-off, maybe, but not hibernate/sleep mode.) If I try to put my box in sleep mode under Win2K, I've got to pull the plug just to bring it back (Linux won't sleep at all. It works fine in FreeBSD.)
