Subject: [Newbie]problem with XFree86, plz help

K, I got XFree86 working, I type 'startx' and it opens up twn, but when
I tried to install kde which I installed from the port I replaced that
line in the xinitrc file that says 'twn &' to 'startkde &'. Well, after
doing that I typed 'startx' and it started up but it looked like it
loaded twn first and then loaded kde on top of that. After that when I
log out of kde it goes to twn, so when I type 'exit' in the logon window
my screen slowly fades to white and it doesn't respond to the
ctrl+alt+backspace, I finally have to restart my system complety. I'm
using this on FreeBSD 4.4 on a Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop with an ATI
Mobility 4 card. Any suggestions or ideas on how I can resolve this
problem would help.

Thx,
Dave
