Hello, I am planning on getting an 16:10 Monitor. Anyhow, I have problem using non standard resolution. Played with 800x512 or 960x630. Putting any of those in XF86Config will give me 1400x1024@60Hz Interlaced. So the settings are somewhat ignored or misinterpreted. I am running an Ati Radeon (w/o DRI) - but as far as I know relolutions are a matter of driver, not the card ?! Reason is, I will need 1600x1000 (1600x1024) for that mointor, but I am not sure wether X is capable of displaying that size (I cannot test it due to my current monitor, but failing the other resolutions does not give too much hope).
