new guy here,

Several years ago I purchased Linux. It the 1998 version of RedHat.
I have never really sat down and bothered to learn it. So I uninstalled it
and
continued running windows.

Now I have the spare time and spare equipment to learn and play with.
I am having a terrible time getting Xfree86 to operate. The Xconfig doesn't
have
my video listed. the SuperProbe does nothing of value. My NIC was not
listed.
I am at a loss as to what to do. I am to the point I will just uninstall
and own a big paper weight.

Darryl
