Can anyone help?
I have been trying to setup XFree86 4.2 on a Toshiba Tecra 8200.
I downloaded and built the 4.20 source release and it claims to
recognise a Trident cyberbladeXPm/8 chipset. It then fails to
detect the screen resolution (1400x1050) and finally dies with
could not open default font 'fixed'
though I am sure that the fontpath is correct and the fonts are
installed.
Does anybody know if I need to install the latest CVS release?
Alternatively, am I likely to be missing something from my XF86Config
file.
