Indeed I believe that the card is a i1, and not a II.  This card is supposed to be supported in version 3.3.6, and I have version 4.0.3.  If my card is indeed the i1, then the specs on the link you provided below state that I should be using

"CyberBlade/i1...... is provided by the XF86_SVGA server with the tvga8900 driver"

If this is the case, then my version should be just fine and I need to adjust to these settings?  Help in this department would be great.

I had pasted my log in a previous post, but perhaps this is not what you are refering to?  I appoligize for my lack of correct terminology.  (and spelling :).  Let me know what pieces of information would be helpful and I will gladly post them.

Thanks again for this,
Michael Derksen

I had a look (list of trident cards supported)
and did not see a cyberblade II however there is a cyberblade i1 could one of the I be a 1 (one)?

A log would help finding out what X recognises.
For instance it may help to specify the video RAM
available specially because I had a look at the specs of your machine and noticed it uses some of
the main memory as a buffer, this may keep the config program from finding out what is
available...

Another possibility (I like it less): there seem to be a download on the trident site (seems to be
a 3.3.6 server...) look at http://www.tridentmicro.com then select Drivers then download then
blade3d
as one says in these case without any warantee...
