I just installed the latest knoppix release to my harddrive (using the recommended settings) and it works great except for one thing, I can't change the screen resolution. Knoppix defaults to 1024x768 but my laptop's display is 1400x1050. When I try to change the resolution using kconfig, it just tiles a 1024x768 screen multiple times and it just looks messed up. With the previous version of knoppix I could change the screen resolution easily and it would boot up with that resolution. This version only boots to 1024x768. I'm not sure if this is related but when I installed it, it printed one error to the command line saying it didn't recognize my video card, which I don't understand because every time it boots (off of the harddrive or cd) it detects my card correctly as a Mobility Radeon 9000 M9. Any help is appreciated. -Joel Self
