MONTENEGRIN PRESIDENT:
THE PROCESS OF INDEPENDENCE CAN NOT BE STOPPED

PODGORICA - Immediately after forming of the new Montenegrin Government, a
dialog with the Montenegrin opposition would be initiated, with an aim of
finding democratic solution for the political division and to preserve both
Montenegrin stability and its multiethnic composition - Montenegrin
President Milo Djukanovic said.

Djukanovic expressed strong believe in the renewal of the Montenegrin
independence as the base of the new relations between Montenegro and Serbia,
which, in Djukanovic's opinion, had to be founded, primarily, on mutual
interests and respect.

Montenegrin President in an interview for weekly "Monitor" reminded that
parliamentary parties in Montenegro should decide together on the date of
referendum's holding and to adopt the laws related to referendum's
realization, so that they could prevent instability in Montenegro, which
might be caused by the referendum's epilog.

SNP-DOS NEGOTIATIONS ABOUT THE LAW ON THE HAGUE FAILED:
THE LAW IS NOT NECESSARY?

PODGORICA - The negotiations failed between the Montenegrin Socialist
People's Party (SNP) and the ruling Serbian coalition (DOS), about the Draft
Law on the Hague Tribunal, causing its withdrawal from the Federal Assembly.

The SNP rejected suggestion of its coalition partner the People's Party (NP)
to make some changes in the Federal Criminal Law and to treat in a same way
Yugoslav citizens and foreign citizens in the matter of extradition.

The transference of the extradition obligation from federal level on
Yugoslav republics, what was the SNP proposal in the Federal Assembly, would
de facto mean self-abolishment of Yugoslavia and its credibility.- NS
President Dragan Soc said.

There would not be any compromise to force the SNP to change its decision
about the cooperation with The Hague - SNP leader Predrag Bulatovic pointed
out.

ADVISOR OF THE MONTENEGRIN PRESIDENT
NOISE ABOUT BREAK UP OF YUGOSLAVIA IS INSTRUMENT OF DEFENSE OF CRIME

PODGORICA - It is lie that Montenegrin President has ever had any secret
contact or clandestine plans with Serb Premier Zoran Djindjice about
destitution of the federal government and braking up of Yugoslavia - advisor
of Montenegrin President Miodrag Vukovic said.

The Serbia's public is inundated with lies because old pro-Milosevic's
forces are fervently trying to hinder democracy and hijack future of Serbia
and Montenegro, while under the pretext of defending national dignity they
are only justifying the dirty past and crime - Vukovic said.

podijeljenosti i ujedno sacuvali stabilnost Crne Gore i njen multietnicki
sklad.

PROPALI PREGOVORI SNP-DOS O ZAKONU O HAGU:
ZAKON SE POVLACI IZ SKUPSTINSKE PROCEDURE

PODGORICA - Pregovori izmedju crnogorske opozicione Socijalisticke narodne
partije (SNP) i vladajuce srbijanske koalicije DOS o nacrtu zakona o Haskom

SAVJETNIK PREDSJEDNIKA REPUBLIKE
GALAMA OKO RUSENJA JUGOSLAVIJE SLUZI ODBRANI ZLOCINA

crnogorskog predsjednika Miodrag Vukovic.

opravdaju pravo na proslost i zlocin - rekao je Vukovic.
