quick test: do you have 12V at the terminal on the starter when you push the button ? Yes: repair starter, No: solenoid is bad. If you had done that first, you might have saved yourself some bucks to spend elsewhere. Answer this one and if you need help with a starter rebuild, get back to us. Good luck
