hi again guys....

it took me a little while but i finally got the "quick test" that
Dennis suggested done with a fully charged battery new solenoid
installed...results were that i do have exactly 12V at the starter
terminal when I press the button.

so according to Dennis, i am in for a 'starter rebuild'...so...yep i'm
gonna need some help...

i got my manual and my tools, all i need is some suggestions as to how
to get this done, what am i looking for? ... i'm gonna read my manual
and checkout "Dan's Motorcycle Repair" site while i wait for
suggestions from my trusty, knowledgeable, fellow group members....

just for starters, i disconnected the solonoid from the battery and
the starter....so i guess next thing to do is take the starter
out...any thing special that i should know or look for or check
for? ....

thanks for all your help...
