So I took my 82 Nighthawk 650 out on the highway for the first time a
few days ago and I was pretty disappointed by it's performance. At
around 5500 rpm and 65 mph in fifth gear the pegs started vibrating
really badly. Is there something wrong with my engine or is this just
a Nighthawk thing? Is there a trick to get past 65 without the
buzzing? Also is 80 really the top speed on the NH? I thought that
most 650s were able to do 100 mph easily.
