It seems to be related to RPM's as opposed to speed, as the pegs buzz even when the bike is in neutral.
BTW did you ever get a chance to recoat your tank? I think I'm going to try it once I get the gaskets done...lots of little flecks of nastiness in my fuel filter...also if you look in my tank it looks like a barnacled old boat hull.
