I recently blew a master fuse on my 1982 450 Nighthawk.
I replaced it,and it blew again.
So I went to my Climers manual 4 help and troubleshooting, after
pushing my bike 2 and a half miles home. I took my battery to the bike
store I frequent to charge, thinking the battery was dead (it was) and
I traced all my wires and found a cupple exposed wires, which i fixed!
I turn on the iggnition, the oil and nuetral come on and i hit the
start button and it trys to start. But its a little cold out,so I have
to try a cupple times to get it running.after 4 trys the start
button,wont work.the console lights r still on,fuse is still good,but
no cranking to start.
I get the battery recharged, put it back in the bike and it blows the
master fuse AGAIN when I turn on the iggnition!
What could be the problem???
Could I have a bad battery???
Or something ealse???
I allso recently took the Vetter fairing off and put a universal
headlight on,but the problems didnt start happening till weeks
after,the change.
