The trip took 25 days, all but about five days were riding
days. There is so much America to see from the seat of a bike that I
couldn't "park" for more than two days in a row. I belong to
Chopperhedz and last July we had a west coast get together. I met a
young lady from Washington state that rode her barebones CB750 chopper
750 miles in 14 hours, now that, is impressive. I think my best day
was 680 miles. I'm already planning another road trip for this fall if
I can get the time off. If I have my 72 CB750 ready I'm gonna take it,
if not I'm pretty sure the Nighthawk would love to take me. I don't
know about the "Iron Butt" but I'm pretty sure I qualify for the numb
butt award. Jay
