I do recommend some progressive fork springs for your bike but they can be a
little tricky to install. I remember I had to fabricate a tool to aid me in
the process. Not a good beginner project. take it to a shop.

okay, I'll check around though to see if there is such a kit. thanks.
Chances are i may end up leaving it just like it is and just deal with it.
ya' know? just too much trouble to begin with.

It's not. And I honestly don't know. My brother did it on his cycle and
there was a kit he purchased that made the use of smaller spacers and a
different spring. Not sure if there's a kit like that for your bike.

how is the front lowered? it doesn't seem as simple as the rear.

The only problem with dropping the bike that much (other than the low ground
clearance) would be that you'd want to lower the suspension up front as
well. The geometry of the bike should be kept as close to stock as possible.

By geometry, I mean the different angles (rake, trail, etc) and how they
relate to each other, not necessarily the ride height itself.

Hey folks,

I found some 11 inch universal shocks on ebay and thought they would be
ideal for my bike.

I currently have the 13 inch stocks with lowering blocks now but, I thought
that the 11" shocks with the

lowering blocks would put me right where I'd like to be. In flat foot
territory. But would that be safe? Would it be taking the bike too low? I
never

plan to ride 2 up or anything. Would I have center of gravity issues? Not
sure.
