Avon makes the Road Runner which is a fantastic tire for the 83-85 Nighthawk. I have a set on my '83 and they are really nice. My buddy ran them on his '83 NH commuter and got huge miles from them between changes. He sold the bike after putting 114k miles on her with most of those tire changes going with the Road Runner.
