After looking closely at the photo and listening to the audio file, I conclude
the cup is too tall and blocking some of the inlet. Try a smaller (shorter)
example. I have to record mine and submit the file. Sounds way different than
yours. Unless the recording setup rolls off at the bottom. ?? What did you use

BR It's a setup I used for broadcast FM years ago. ('06) Studio grade mike and
recorder. Our budget didn't stretch far enough to use digital.
Check the jet sizes anyway. Leave no stone... or it it stoned ?
