I just replaced the fork seal on an '83 NH 650 yesterday and have  
another to do today.  I put silicon on the aluminum tube so that the  
seal sealed on the outside but of course not around the tube. I find  
the 650 NHs are the worst to do when it comes to those seals.
I'd like to know how you do it - from start to finish,
