I have shipped several bikes. You have to crate the bike yourself ( or pay
someone to do it) and have it ready for pick up. The best way to find a shipper
that will be reliable is to look at E-bay under shipping services. If they're
listed in E-bay your chances are good that they will be reliable. HotrodMamma.

  Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Motorcycle shipping

  Hello everyone,
I am new to your organization and am enjoying the interesting topics and
information. Would like to get some information on shipping. Has anyone shipped
a bike through a contractor? If so who might be reliable? Or who to avoid? Any
input is welcome. Thanks
     Glenn
