No, that tach on your 750 NH is electronic, a sheath of wires that
goes into the headlight and connects in there. I haven't had to look
inside mine but I'm sure it's an easy connect to one or more harness's.

starting at either place - the tach or the engine - just a bit of
jiggling gets them in. Then replace the securing screw back in the
engine port.
