The 110 in the tire size is the width of usable tread from one side of the tire
to the other.
The 80 is the aspect ratio or percent of the width of the tread, In this case
it is 80%
The 18 is the rim size.

If you lower the first number, then you have to raise the middle number to get
the same circumfrace for the tire. it should be almost the same.

The one sure way to find out is to measure the circumfrance of the tire and
then measure from the axle to the fender on the new tire to see if it will rub

Hi Everyone

Can I safely replace my 110/80/18 front tire with a 100/90/18
without any problems? Has anyone done this and if so what advice/comments can
you offer/  Thanks as usual.....
