@ todd it has been a while sence i read it, and it was the king james version... But i read it because i wanted to be able to have discussions like this and be informed
i do agree that bikers do show strong passions and those passions turn to beliefs... And i dont rember the quote exactly, but in the movie bruce allmighty morgan freeman (god) says that beliefs are hard to change... Wars start over beliefs... But ideas are a lot easyer to change.... With that said... This fourm is filled with many people from diffrent faiths and beliefs... i have spent alot of time listining to peoples beliefs and have come up with my own idea of how the world works -----Original Message----- Date: Wednesday, March 24, 2010 10:22:29 am To: [email protected] From: "Todd Hamilton" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [Nighthawk Lovers] Sticking floats Good enough for me. If you read it and made your choice you are an informed person. I wasn't trying to attack anyone's religious beliefs. I think what made America great was the freedom to choose freely on what you do and don't believe and weather or not you want to worship or not. It's a great freedom. Motorcycle riders typically have one thing in common. PASSION. It's not only for Motorcycles (brand, style, color, etc), but oil, tires, places to ride and you can always get a passionate discussion out of good group of people who like to ride. Sorry for helping stur the pot. I really enjoyed reading all the post. It appears most are not shy to share. Have you read it? Most (I hear 90% of Americans) have not read it, but it was vital to the founding fathers of this nation. I took the challenge 5 years ago and completed the Bible in one year. My suggestion is to read it. I would suggest John first. Revelations second and Genesis third. Keep in mind all three religions come from Abraham. Jews and Muslims are brothers by two different mothers, so half brothers. Amazing how the two don't get along. God promised Abraham to be the father of many nations. He sure kept that promise. How many times I've heard this argument presented. I'll give you credit for being a gentle soul. You must pass on to get the answer. Before that, you would do well to avail yourself of grace in this life. Your point may be posed to a Muslim and for your indecision, you may get your answer much sooner than expected. The author of confusion is well known. Take a stand and believe in something or fall for anything. Jesus knew that religion would serve to divide. You give evidence of this. ________________________________ From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, March 23, 2010 10:45:39 PM Subject: Re: [Nighthawk Lovers] Sticking floats My personal view...
