well I figured since I had the frame all apart I would give her a proper wash. so out came the brush and the degreaser and a pressure washer. cleaned it all up, put it all back together... gave her a test run, she's smoother than ever :)
now of course the petcock is still busted so i have manually set it to OFF and left only a tiny amount of fuel in the tank. new plugs, new oil, all good as gold. good to have her back.. but now i will take it in and see if i can't get a petcock rebuild kit and/or replacement.. cheers guys and much obliged for the help :) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
