i would lean to mis adjusted floats as opposed to "busted" floats. if you get a carb rebuild kit, they usually come with a little L or U shaped ruler and instructions on how to bend the little tabs to adjust them. What was the oil contaminated with? I'm assuming fuel since it is an air cooled bike, but if it sat for too long it is possible condensation/moisture caused the rings and or cylinder walls to rust/ score...it is sounding more and more like you will be doing almost a full on rebuild...oil fould spark plugs could also be a bad valve stem or even cracked head...lots of possibilities...good luck...
