Thanks, I have 16K on my 92 750. I have been running mobil 1 with good results though @ last oil change the were out so I got castrol. (Closest bike shop is a ways away) I guess it had a friction reducer in it. That is why I was asking if an oil change might help or is it ruined. Yes I like to ride briskly, normal acceleration is fine, third gear WOT is a different story. The PO used to use it as a light tourer loaded up with camping gear, but mostly highway miles. I've heard ATF mixed in the oil will clean the clutch disk. I might try that first, I've done that before as a engine flush.
