I still have the email address of the person who modified the rack and have sent him an email so he can comment.
I just uploaded pictures of my set-up - IMG_2404, IMG_2405 and IMG_2406. Done by another member that I purchased it from. Now that I see it I could have done it myself and I'm not a technical guy. You basically chop off the backrest portion of the rack and put some chrome plugs in the holes - you can purchase these at most hardware stores. One of the plugs came off when I was putting mine on. They were just put in the holes. I pulled out the old liquid nail and basically filled the hole with it. This not only holds the plug in place put hopefully will create an air tight seal - I live in Hawaii and rust is a problem with everything. The last picture is of the back of the Givi case. The previous owner painted it to match the bike and then created the 750 four logo and Honda logo - way beyond my skills and kind of cool. Send me an email if you have any questions or need more pictures.
