My concerns on the windshield are as follows:
There are no vertical supports that would be off the
handlebars - everything is done off the mounting bracket...
The obvious place to attach the mounting bracket is the
directional stalks. Only problem there - they must support the entire
weight of the windshield and all the pressure that will exert itself
when the bike is moving. I am worried they might bend / break.
The other problem lies in where the windshield will push
- I assume It will have to be partially leaning on the gauge cluster.
Thus, when the bike is moving I'll have winds of whatever speed
pushing directly on the gauge cluster - forcing it towards the tank.
I'm concerned as to what damage this might cause.
Upon thinking of all these things - I'm already inclined
to follow the advice of selling it over keeping it and using my duct
tape engineering skills to get it to work.
             Thoughts?
