Run the bike up against an immovable object: wall, bumper, etc.  In low gear, 
high throttle, try to make the clutch slip (briefly).  If you kill the engine, 
the clutch is (at least "was") good!  If it slips when full out, and doesn't 
kill the engine, attention is required.
