Ahh a brother in arms! I'm about the same way Kurt, got into bikes just last year. Can't go wrong with a DID chain. O-ring if not an xring chain. Just make sure you've either calculated the chain length or buy a chain 4-6 links longer than stock. http://www.gearingcommander.com/ Will do most of the math for you if you're feeling lazy :)
