In the ongoing saga of electrical problems, I think I have discovered a new one. this actually goes along with the last problem I was having. There is a red wire that goes from the voltage regulator to the negative terminal of the battery. It shorted out causing smoke and now the bike has a hard time turning over. the little red wire also seems to be spliced in to a green wire that goes into the connector immediately above the regulator.
does anybody have any Idea why that wire would even be there?
