History the bike sat for 5 years in the Florida sun, I worked on a
farm and tutored a 10 grader in math for the bike.
I got the bike knowing that is fit my budget for college. I have it
running. and on the road. I am averaging about 100 miles per day
between work and going to college.
What I have done.
Bought Carbs from ebay.
Replaced broken turn signals with LEDS.
Replace battery.
Replace the tires with the stock tires Dulop 505's front and back.
Replace front and back brakes.
Replace turn signal relay from Hiway Biker LED universal turn signal
relay.
Replace the rusty bull horn handle bars with a new free almost drag
like bars.
What shops have done.
Relined the tank.
Clean and sync the carbs.
What the shops have ordered.

New X-chain
Questions and Problems.
1. Turn signs are blinking all 4's. Relay? or something else.
2. I have a Corbin seat on the bike but is ripping apart at the seams
because the handle bars are so straight I have to set almost on the
tank. I can not find stock handle bars, I like the bars, but in need
raisers move them back. Any one knows where I can get raiser cheap
for the bike or stock handle bars that are cheap. If found stock
handle bars? How do I get the hand grips off and reinstall them?
3. Is there any way to repair the corbin seat less costly?
4. The shop told me that the bike is running to lean with the K&N
airfilter, making my pipes turning slightly blue. How to remove the
blueing from the pipes.
5. I am a muscular person, and wide. The mirrors are to short. I
need mirrors that extend outward more.
Any suggestions for mirrors that do not cost an arm and a leg.
6. I am going to college. I need either saddle bags or sissybar
bag. Any sugguestions?
7. Throttle locks (crusie control), any suggestions?
8. Is there any thing I can do to improve the gas milage cheaply?
(THE mods the nighthawk, carbs and exhaust)?
9.. Finally, I need a windshield. I have one but its faded from the
sun. Can I make my own? Or clean
the one I have with something, need suggestion?
10. I am very happy with the 1993 NIghthawk, except how I set on it,
My butt hurt after riding 35 miles.
Need to fix it.
11. Any other suggestions, advice, and/or accessories, please inform
me.

number in front of it because I work 40 hours on third shift and go to
college.
My car blew up own the way to college last semester, I drifted into
the garage parking area. Now my only means of transportation is the
Nighthawk.
