Go to GSresources.com the have all the answers. In short the only engineering
flaw was the rectifyer which burns up stators. Electrosport sells a replacement
R/R that doesn't do that. Otherwise they are way over built and good for 100K
like the NH.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Anyone know anything about the 1982 Suzuki
 GS1100GK - I know off topic.

I've been looking for a touring bike in the Portland area for my
summer road trips. I came across a 1882 Suzuki GS1100GK on Craigslist
for $1,600 with 24,000 miles on it. I've always liked that era GS1100
and didn't even know about the touring model. I've read several
reviews and as is typical - some love the bike and some not so much.

Anyone know anything about these bikes? Anything I should be
concerned about?

Here's the CL ad: http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/mcy/2226693090.html

Thanks - Sean
