I looked at the GS series several years ago, before deciding to go with a Nighthawk.
Weak electrical system seems a prevailing design flaw, according to the chatter on the fan sites. Note this one's had stator and rectifier replaced recently. So I would ask if the replacement parts are by Electrosport, since that seemed to be the popular solution.
