I think I see how it can be removed the same way as any one of my
Nighthawks (without the saddle bag paraphernalia) because the axle
clears the mufflers, am I right? I'm only buying this bike if it's a
great deal like the '84 Wing I bought last winter for $500. It was
in pristine shape, just needed air in the tires, a new starter motor,
battery and polishing. I bought it for an Amish friend who I made
promise that he would give it to me for the same price if he ever
wanted to sell it. He drops in now and then to gloat. Graham
