Another way of looking at it is that motorcycles are pretty much money
pits. Period.

Even new ones.

If it's not mechanical issues that get spendy, it's the "farkles" --
accessories, gadgets, this piece of chrome or that.  Helmets, riding
gear, saddle bags, GPS units, windshields, extra lights...and on and
on.

If I had all the money I've spent on bikes during my lifetime...well,
I'd probly buy another one (!)

The only way to NOT spend money on a bike is not to own one.
