The magnets won't do anything. The in-ground sensors detect the ability of your vehicle to conduct electricity, but it has nothing to do with magnets. They tell bicyclists to try and lay your bike down horizontally across the detector. If it's video camera detection, that normally is pretty good at seeing motorcycles. The pedestrian button is a great idea.
